God of war 5: Release Date, Cast, Plot, And Everything You Need to Know

Sony’s Santa Monica Studio attracted gamers a mixture of Greek and Norse mythology in 2018’s God of War, allowing players to travel to new realms, which are essential in Old Norse. But not all the domains said in the sport are accessible, leaving room for their incorporation into God of War 5.

There were nine realms referenced in God of War, but only six were available to travel to - Midgard, Alfheim, Helheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, and Niflheim. The four unlocked as the story progresses, but the two could only be accessed in the event the participant collects the adequate number of traveling runes. The other three realms – Asgard, Vanaheim, and Svartalfheim - are not available in the sport, though they referenced throughout.

God Of War Ending Painting: Every Reveal & Tease About Kratos’ Future

It may not be very reassuring for some fans to realize that these realms aren’t accessible. But this is likely supposed to foreshadow where future installments of the God of War franchise will probably go - just like 2018’s God of War only permitted Kratos to come back with some of the minor Norse Gods, as opposed to Thor. For instance, it is an indication that Santa Monica Studios is attempting to build up anticipating for bigger and better things later on. As installments will continue to explore the Norse mythology, there’s good reason to expect Asgard, Vanaheim, and Svartalfheim are also accessible in the sequel.

When Will God Of War 5 Release?

It took five years to make 2018’s God of War. Thus fans of this franchise ought to expect a sequel to choose a similar quantity of time to finish. Then gamers could be waiting until 2023 until the sequel releases if this is the case. Santa Monica has not confirmed anything about the sequel, such as when it should hit the market. But hints seem to indicate the game is underway.

Santa Monica Studios’ Executive Cory Barlog that worked as the game manager for 2018’s God of War seemed to hint at a sequel last March. A blog created headlines for responding to a series of tweets shared initially with IGN, Inverse reports. “Though none of these PlayStation sequels have been verified, would you prefer to see it to PS5?” One tweet read whereas the other stated highly anticipated games like Uncharted five and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Naturally, God of War 5 was also included in the list. “ALL PLEASE,” Barlog reacted in all capital letters followed by a hub emoji. Before that, in April 2018, Barlog advised Kotaku he had enough ideas for five God of War games, though he afterward told fans through Twitter they shouldn’t take this as an official confirmation of whatever.

These are not the only hints that imply that God of War 5 is on its way, however, as Santa Monica has been posting job listings seemingly related to the sequel production. On June 14th, Santa Monica made a listing Searching to get a”Senior Combat Designer. ” The post specifically mentioned that applicants must have”knowledge of God of War (2018) and be able to speak in-depth about the battle system, mechanisms, and enemies,” Inverse adds. Whenever God of War 5 releases, gamers can expect a variety of new realms to explore and find, including anticipation of this franchise’s next release.

'Animal Crossing' hackers gives away free villagers to fight black market

People are taking advantage of the game by selling villagers for real-life money. As a result, Animal Crossing hackers are starting a free service where they give villagers for free.

Innovative players have made applications and tools to help the Animal Crossing community with the game’s expansive set of features. Recently, Twitter user PokeNinja has gone as far as creating a service made of Animal Crossing hackers to give a free villager of their choice.

Animal Crossing black market

Since the game was released last March, a sort of black market has emerged where people are selling famous villagers. The sellers would ask for massive amounts of Bells, Nook Mile Tickets, and sometimes real-life currency.

The black market abuse was so apparent that even Nintendo itself has commented on the issue. The Japanese gaming giant says they are tracking down these abusive sellers and will penalize them.

PokeNinja has gained popularity after he announced on his Twitter account that he will be hacking villagers and giving them away for free. He revealed that he was doing this because of his disappointment in learning about the idea of players extorting fellow gamers.

Free villagers

Last June 20, PokeNinja started Villager Haven in Discord where Animal Crossing hackers teamed up to provide the service. According to the team, the most requested villagers were Raymond and Judy.

He also announced that if ever the devs ban his Nintendo account, he’d be happy to buy one again and continue giving out free villagers. He said he would happily continue doing this service as long as there are abusive Animal Crossing sellers.

Good hackers

A few days ago, PokeNinja tweeted that his team of Animal Crossing hackers has doubled since it was launched. If their team continues to expand, they will be able to help at least a hundred players per day. He says there is a disgrace in being called a hacker these days. However, he wants to show the good side of hacking through his generous Animal Crossing service.

At this point, the service has grown beyond just hacking. It has become a community of players who are utilizing various methods to hunt down villagers. Whether a villager came from the traditional Mystery Island tours or an expansive Amiibo collection, PokeNinja says that they will continue giving away villagers for free.

The team of Animal Crossing hackers also said that they are also giving away items and Nook Miles Tickets for free as well.

Pokémon Unite announced as new game for Nintendo Switch and mobile phones

If you thought the flurry of Pokémon news was over, think again. Nintendo just dropped a whole new pocket monster game heading to the Nintendo Switch and a mobile phone near you: Pokémon Unite.

In collaboration with Tencent Games and The Pokémon Company, you'll now be battling it out with your little digital pals in epic 5v5 battles that will be cross platform between your Switch and compatible smartphones.

This is huge news for cross-platform fans, as any company willing to share online play between rivals is always good news for us gamers.

During another Nintendo Pokémon Presents livestream, President and CEO of the Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, showed off a long video of the new game and what we can expect.

If you skipped past the epic Pikachu shots and various card game battles, you'll have got to the juicy bit of the show which showed players picking their best Pokémon to play in cooperative battles in a pretty fun-looking MOBA-style battler.

As with other popular games like League of Legends, the map is split into three "lanes" that your Pokémon will be funnelled down to fight. You'll be fighting over the five point-areas on each side of the map to win, similar to defeating towers in other MOBAs.

Your Pokémon then levels up the more it fights, upgrading its abilities and evolving, going so far as to unlock special Ultimate abilities called "Unite Moves" to unleash devastating attacks.

For example, Snorlax builds a wall that blocks damage down your lane, or Blastoise whips out his water cannons to blast the areas surrounding him.

It's interesting that Pokémon is looking to go down the esports route with this new game, but it's a welcome switch up to the age-old games of old.

Pokémon Unite is a free-to-start game for the Nintendo Switch, and iOS and Android devices, and you can play against any device during multiplayer.

‘CrossfireX’ confirms Xbox One release, beta features three modes

The popular first-person shooter game, CrossfireX is heading to Xbox One. Moreover, the game’s beta features three modes.

Considered as one of the world’s popular video games, Crossfire is initially available on PC. However, a new game version for the Xbox One console, fittingly titled, CrossfireX, is getting a beta ahead of its launch. Hence the game will have an open beta which will begin from June 25 and ends on June 28.

Crossfire X beta has appeared on the Microsoft Store

Surprisingly, the Crossfire beta for the Xbox console is included on the Microsoft Store’s product page. Furthermore, the beta file size is 5.88 GB and runs at 4K on Xbox One X. Although it’s not yet clear if the game runs at 60 frames per second, players are hoping for the 60 frame rate.

The PC version of the game attracted 650 million players. Because of its popularity, there’s no doubt that Crossfire will also arrive on other gaming platforms. Moreover, the Crossfire Xbox version was already announced at Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 press conference.

According to Microsoft, it will only allow a limited number of participants to access the beta. The following are guidelines on how to join the beta:

  • The Closed Beta is available to download now through the Xbox Insider Hub.
  • On Xbox One, sign-in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if needed).
  • Navigate to Insider content, select Games, then search for/select the CrossfireX BETA.
  • Select Join.
  • Wait for the registration to complete to be directed to the Store and install the CrossfireX Beta.

CrossfireX beta features three modes

The game features three modes, Spectre Mode, Team Match, and Point Capture. In the Spectre Mode, Black List players will use stealth suits and melee weapons to silently take down their foes and plant the C4 to destroy their target.

The Team Match is one of the popular modes in the original game. The mode features 8 players who will race to eliminate all of their enemies or plant the C4 explosive to achieve victory.

The Point Capture mode, on the other hand, is a spin on the classic Team Deathmatch mode from the original Crossfire. Furthermore, Point Capture is a great place for beginners to learn and test their might on the battlefield. Also, players can try out new weapons and learn the map and strategic layouts.

Crossfire is expected to launch on Playstation consoles

Since the official announcement for the Xbox release last year, Crossfire will soon arrive on other major consoles too. It’s just a matter of time until Smilegate Entertainment will make such developments.

‘Titanfall 2’ gains a resurgence with EA’s Steam transition

Titanfall 2 is getting a surge of new traffic as it moved to Steam last week. EA’s transition to Valve’s distribution platform is opening up the gates for avid fans.

Titanfall 2 came out in 2016 and became a smash hit right upon its release. Even then, the game’s player base dwindled due to competition and its existence on Origin.

The move to Steam is creating a resurgence of new players in-game. It is growing so big that players are pushing it to Steam’s “Top 100 Most Played.”

Second Titanfall installment was a smash hit on launch

Back in 2016, the release of Titanfall’s second installment created waves in the industry. Critics loved the superb multiplayer experience, with its fast-paced parkour fights and the zippy use of grappling hooks. The mech battles were mind-blowing as well.

Every mech brawl is a battle of steel on steel. Everything is explosive, with every impact ready to smash players into pulp. What made the second Titanfall different, however, is the game’s single-player experience.

Many players find the single-player of the game to be a high-point of the genre. In modern shooters, campaigns are always an afterthought. The Titanfall sequel has a stellar one-player campaign that can blow people’s minds.

It’s one of the best of its kind, giving gamers a dazzling spectacle every time. It’s also what players can expect from the title from that point forward.

Everything set the second Titanfall as one of the best until the competition showed up. Call of Duty and Battlefield started leeching on its player base. Both competitors were not only viable at the time, but they were also on Steam.

Many gamers want their titles consolidated in one platform. Even then, using other distribution storefronts is tiresome and problematic. Some even found opening Origin to play Titanfall 2 a chore.

With similar games on Steam, players opted to stay on Valve’s platform. Rather than invest time in the second Titanfall, they patronized competition and left.

Steam injects new life into second Titanfall

The recent transition of Electronic Arts games to Steam is a welcome move. The addition of EA games, especially Titanfall, lend players a chance at the game.

Since last week, the local concurrent players for the second Titanfall are growing. Their peak so far is at a hefty 9,211 players, with the average close to it. At these numbers, the game qualifies to be within Steam’s Top 100 Most Played.

The robust backend that Steam provides is injecting life into a dying game. The game is doing so good that it’s beating other similar games from EA. These include the likes of Battlefield 5 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Steam.

Titanfall 2 is available on Steam and will be on its launch discount until July 9.

Other known game details

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 release details

The remastered collection is set to be globally released on September 4. Nevertheless, Engadget points out that Activision might offer a “teasing access to a demo” on August 14 to those who will pre-order a digital copy.
