God of war 5: Release Date, Cast, Plot, And Everything You Need to Know

Sony’s Santa Monica Studio attracted gamers a mixture of Greek and Norse mythology in 2018’s God of War, allowing players to travel to new realms, which are essential in Old Norse. But not all the domains said in the sport are accessible, leaving room for their incorporation into God of War 5.

There were nine realms referenced in God of War, but only six were available to travel to - Midgard, Alfheim, Helheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, and Niflheim. The four unlocked as the story progresses, but the two could only be accessed in the event the participant collects the adequate number of traveling runes. The other three realms – Asgard, Vanaheim, and Svartalfheim - are not available in the sport, though they referenced throughout.

God Of War Ending Painting: Every Reveal & Tease About Kratos’ Future

It may not be very reassuring for some fans to realize that these realms aren’t accessible. But this is likely supposed to foreshadow where future installments of the God of War franchise will probably go - just like 2018’s God of War only permitted Kratos to come back with some of the minor Norse Gods, as opposed to Thor. For instance, it is an indication that Santa Monica Studios is attempting to build up anticipating for bigger and better things later on. As installments will continue to explore the Norse mythology, there’s good reason to expect Asgard, Vanaheim, and Svartalfheim are also accessible in the sequel.

When Will God Of War 5 Release?

It took five years to make 2018’s God of War. Thus fans of this franchise ought to expect a sequel to choose a similar quantity of time to finish. Then gamers could be waiting until 2023 until the sequel releases if this is the case. Santa Monica has not confirmed anything about the sequel, such as when it should hit the market. But hints seem to indicate the game is underway.

Santa Monica Studios’ Executive Cory Barlog that worked as the game manager for 2018’s God of War seemed to hint at a sequel last March. A blog created headlines for responding to a series of tweets shared initially with IGN, Inverse reports. “Though none of these PlayStation sequels have been verified, would you prefer to see it to PS5?” One tweet read whereas the other stated highly anticipated games like Uncharted five and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Naturally, God of War 5 was also included in the list. “ALL PLEASE,” Barlog reacted in all capital letters followed by a hub emoji. Before that, in April 2018, Barlog advised Kotaku he had enough ideas for five God of War games, though he afterward told fans through Twitter they shouldn’t take this as an official confirmation of whatever.

These are not the only hints that imply that God of War 5 is on its way, however, as Santa Monica has been posting job listings seemingly related to the sequel production. On June 14th, Santa Monica made a listing Searching to get a”Senior Combat Designer. ” The post specifically mentioned that applicants must have”knowledge of God of War (2018) and be able to speak in-depth about the battle system, mechanisms, and enemies,” Inverse adds. Whenever God of War 5 releases, gamers can expect a variety of new realms to explore and find, including anticipation of this franchise’s next release.

'The Boys' season 2: Is the release date announcement coming in July?

The Boys season 2 details remain to be vague until now. But some few hints here and there are making fans look forward to it.

Fans of the superhero web series continue to wait for the release date of The Boys season 2. Until now, there is still no word about it but avid followers of the show are sensing that it’s coming very soon.

Possible announcement

According to TV Insider, there’s a possibility that further details of The Boys season 2 will surface next month.

The speculation comes after cast member Anthony Starr gave a vague update on his Instagram account a week ago.

Starr, who plays as the Homelander in the series, posted some on-the-set photos. Along with it is a caption that says, “Guess what….season two comes out soon…”

Fans were quick to react to the post with many dropping questions of how soon it is going to be. Several also commented on how excited they are already for the new season’s arrival.

One user wrote, “This month? Next? Need some BOYS in my life!!”

As expected, Starr did not provide any further details but many are hoping for a July release. After all, season 1 dropped on July 26, 2019, with a total of eight episodes.

So if the show follows the same release date, an announcement may also be made sometime early next month. Nothing is confirmed yet so it’s best to take things with a grain of salt.

Episodes and cast

IMDB listed the series as having eight episodes. It’s possible that season 2 will have the same number of episodes as season 1.

But again, since there is no confirmation yet, fans will just have to wait to see if the show sticks to an eight-episode run.

As for the cast lineup, the main stars are expected to reprise their roles. Starr will still be joined by Jack Quaid as Hughie, Tomer Kapon as Frenchis, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk and Karen Fukuhara as The Female.

It’s also said that The Wolf of Wall Street star Aya Cash will be joining as a new character known as Stormfront.

Her character is revealed to be a new Supe who will threaten to kick off Homelander’s position as The Seven’s leader.

Aside from Cash, Timeless Goran Visnjic actor will also be a newbie in the show. He will play the role of Alistair Adana, a “charismatic and shadowy leader of a mysterious church.”

Claudia Doumit is also said to play as Victoria Neuman, “a young wunderkind congresswoman.”

Fans will have to stay tuned for more updates on The Boys season 2 soon.

‘Normal People’ cast set to return to release two specials from Comic Relief

Heads up to all Normal People fans. The stars and director of the series are returning to the small screen but not for a new season yet.

Normal People is an Irish drama series based on the novel of the same title by Sally Rooney.

Since it premiered on BBC One in April this year, it became a hit show and has even formed a solid fanbase along the way.

It only came with a total of 12 episodes and apparently, fans want more. But the question for a season 2 still remains unanswered especially since the series closed the way it did in the book.

Fans are left wondering about the future of Marianne and Connell for now. Fortunately, RTÉ Does Comic Relief wants to give fans a treat by bringing back Marianne and Connell.

Returning 40 years later

According to Digital Spy, Normal People cast members Paul Messy and Daisy Edgar-Jones are returning to the small screen to appear in two specials. Director Lenny Abrahamson is also said to take part in the episode specials.

Fans shouldn’t expect the episodes to pick up after the events of season 1 though. Instead of a continuation, it will be giving fans a glimpse into what Cornell and Marianne are up to decades later, about 40 years.

It will be airing on Friday, June 26 on RTÉ Does Comic Relief in Ireland. Co-founder Richard Curtis revealed some details about the specials.

“There’s a beautiful piece called Normal Older People, which is imagining what would have happened to Marianne and Connell 40 years from now,” he told RTÉ Radio 1. “I promise you, these are two very special bits.”

Moreover, he said that “it’s so much better than anything we’ve ever made.” He even gave a hint if a guest star in it and describes it as “really beautiful.”

“One of the things about Comic Relief is it just gives opportunities for things to happen that would never happen,” Curtis added. “I can’t imagine any context in which they would have allowed this little sort of extra-special into the world of Normal People.”

Fundraiser event

The specials featuring Messy and Edgar-Jones is part of RTÉ’s efforts to raise funds for the Irish charity sector.

It is in partnership with Comic Relief and they will be bringing together the best of Irish comedy and entertainment together.

As noted in The Community Foundation for Ireland, the money they raised through RTÉ Does Comic Relief will be used to support communities in Ireland in the recovery and rebuilding stage after the COVID-19 lockdown.
