The popular first-person shooter game, CrossfireX is heading to Xbox One. Moreover, the game’s beta features three modes.
Considered as one of the world’s popular video games, Crossfire is initially available on PC. However, a new game version for the Xbox One console, fittingly titled, CrossfireX, is getting a beta ahead of its launch. Hence the game will have an open beta which will begin from June 25 and ends on June 28.
Crossfire X beta has appeared on the Microsoft Store
Surprisingly, the Crossfire beta for the Xbox console is included on the Microsoft Store’s product page. Furthermore, the beta file size is 5.88 GB and runs at 4K on Xbox One X. Although it’s not yet clear if the game runs at 60 frames per second, players are hoping for the 60 frame rate.
The PC version of the game attracted 650 million players. Because of its popularity, there’s no doubt that Crossfire will also arrive on other gaming platforms. Moreover, the Crossfire Xbox version was already announced at Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 press conference.
According to Microsoft, it will only allow a limited number of participants to access the beta. The following are guidelines on how to join the beta:
CrossfireX beta features three modes
The game features three modes, Spectre Mode, Team Match, and Point Capture. In the Spectre Mode, Black List players will use stealth suits and melee weapons to silently take down their foes and plant the C4 to destroy their target.
The Team Match is one of the popular modes in the original game. The mode features 8 players who will race to eliminate all of their enemies or plant the C4 explosive to achieve victory.
The Point Capture mode, on the other hand, is a spin on the classic Team Deathmatch mode from the original Crossfire. Furthermore, Point Capture is a great place for beginners to learn and test their might on the battlefield. Also, players can try out new weapons and learn the map and strategic layouts.
Crossfire is expected to launch on Playstation consoles
Since the official announcement for the Xbox release last year, Crossfire will soon arrive on other major consoles too. It’s just a matter of time until Smilegate Entertainment will make such developments.
