Bachelor Nation's Bekah Martinez Claps Back After Being Told Her Daughter Is “Too Old” to Breastfeed

Bekah Martinez will not let people mommy-shame her.

The former Bachelor contestant is now a mother of two, and while she's no longer on a reality TV show, there's not much the star won't share with the public. From breastfeeding to body hair, Bekah has previously explained that she hopes her candor on these topics helps removes the stigma from them.

This is part of the reason why she recently shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her daughter, Ruth, 1, and newborn son, Franklin. She captioned the pic, "Just doin' my mom thing."

Though some of her followers expressed support for Bekah, a few people criticized her for continuing to breastfeed her 17-month-old daughter. "She's too old and is going to have psychological issues when she's older," one person commented.

In a now-expired Instagram Story, the Chatty Broads host clapped back, "My daughter is NOT EVEN 18 MONTHS and I'm already getting comments like this."

"it's REALLY hard to get a child to involuntarily breastfeed so it's ridiculous when people claim someone's forcing their older child to feed," she explained. "If a child is voluntarily nursing ... there is NOTHING psychologically damaging about nursing through and even past the toddler years."

Bekah continued, "We've got it soooo backwards now as a society. Children don't have any concept of breastfeeding being sexual."

When the trolls later told Bekah she shouldn't share such intimate photos because her daughter will grow up and be embarrassed, she replied, "First, I don't know how long it's been since you've been a teen but I've never heard anyone make fun of someone for having photos breastfeeding with their mom. Second, my daughter's going to be a confident badass bitch who won't be fazed if someone was to say some dumb s--t about it."

Tom Hanks & Wife Rita Wilson Become Official Greek Citizens

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are now official Greek citizens. The prime minister of  Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the news on Instagram over the weekend.

Mitsotakis wrote, “@ritawilson @tomhanks are now proud Greek citizens! 🇬🇷”  The couple stood holding their new passports.

Last year Hanks and Wilson became honorary citizens of the country after Hanks was thanked for his help in raising awareness for the fires in 2018 that destroyed areas near Athens and killed more than 100 people.

On January 2, Hanks tweeted, “Starting 2020 as an Honorary citizen of all of Greece! Kronia pola! ( more or less, ‘happy year!’). Hanx.”

In December, Greek Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos told CNN, “Tom Hanks is a person who showed real interest in the people who suffered from the fire in Mati and promoted this issue in the global media.”

Wilson and Hanks have been known to vacation in Greece and even own property on the island of Antiparos. Wilson herself is part Greek and Hanks is a Greek Orthodox convert.

At the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, Hanks said, “I’ve been Hellenic now for the better part of 32 years. Greece is a haven… I’ve been around the world, I’ve been to the most beautiful places in the world, none of them tops Greece.” He added, “The land, the sky, the water, it’s good for the soul, it’s a healing place.”

A few months ago Hanks and his wife had tested positive for the coronavirus. Since they recovered, Hanks has made sure to remind fans to wear a mask. In early July, he told Today in an interview, “The idea of doing one’s part, though, should be so simple — wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands,” he said. “That alone means you are contributing to the betterment of your house, your work, your town, your society as a whole, and it’s such a small thing. It’s a mystery to me how somehow that has been wiped out of what should be ingrained in the behavior of us all.”

Chris Sullivan Says He's Running on 'Adrenaline and Pure Joy' After Welcoming First Child

It's an exciting time for Chris Sullivan, who became a dad for the first time amid quarantine. The This Is Us star and his wife, Rachel Reichard, welcomed a baby boy named Bear Maxwell this week -- and as he told ET's Keltie Knight, he's running on "adrenaline and pure joy."

While promoting his new song, "Divided," Sullivan shared that he and his wife have "gotten into a pretty good rhythm of getting each other to sleep and rest. And then we've got a little bit of help here at home...I'm still running on mostly adrenaline. Adrenaline and pure joy."

Sullivan added that, "in a lot of ways," quarantine was the "perfect time" for them to have a baby.

"We've been at home for the last four months and we've had a lot of time together," he noted, explaining that while he and his wife have been married for 10 years, "in the last four months, we've gotten to know each other in ways that are deeper and more connected than ever." They also had extra time to get the house ready for Bear's arrival. "We just felt very prepared and now there is no pressure to go anywhere. There is no pressure to do anything. I don't have to go back to work anytime soon."

"For all of the struggle that goes along with these times right now, that's a little bit of a blessing for the two of us," he expressed. "We're just resting and relaxing and really enjoying it."

As for how they came up with the name Bear, the actor explained that while his wife was pregnant she would have a recurring dream in which she was "visited by this polar bear -- and she doesn't really have recurring dreams a lot."

"It turns out that the bear is a symbol of awakening joy, and when we were thinking of names, it just came to her one day," he recalled. "She's like, 'What about Bear?' And I said, 'Oh, like your dream?' And she went, 'That's right, the dream.' And that was it. There were no other options."

Sullivan also praised Rachel, sharing that he was put in the "driver's seat" by the doctor and helped deliver their baby.

"I cannot tell you, to watch my wife labor for almost 20 hours and to watch her deliver this child, there's nothing else like it," he fawned. "It was so primal and powerful and intentional and she just, like, transformed before my eyes. I mean, I already love this woman so much and she's a warrior. It's incredible. Nothing compares to it!"

The actor's This Is Us family has already met little Bear, he shared. Sullivan also gave an update on the upcoming season.

"We had a family Zoom chat last night and I just received [the scripts for] episodes one and two," he revealed. "I, of course, have had no time to read them, but the rest of the cast says that they are off the charts. So I can't wait to read them!"

"[Creator] Dan [Fogelman] has been running the writers' room and trying to figure out how we're all gonna get back to work," he continued. "The writers have a good head start on all these stories and, yeah, it's gonna be a crazy season one way or the other!"

As far as what the next season will touch on, while he hasn't read the scripts, Sullivan said he knows the writers on the show have a "way of tapping into culture and into the average experience of people in this country in a way that no other group of people does."

"That's why people connect with our show, that's why they tune in, that's why they keep coming back," he noted. "So I have no doubt that our writers will, in some way, connect at least the emotional themes of what's going on in the world into our show, but again I gotta read one and two to figure out where we start."

As for his other "baby," his latest EDM single "Divided" with producer Shane Patterson, the former Broadway star said, "I have done music my whole life…I was a little scared. I was a little nervous to jump into an arena I haven't been in before. We recorded the sound and he mixed it and produced it, and it sounds awesome!"

The song's message is a poignant one right now, Sullivan expressed. "'Divided' is a word that can be used in all kinds of ways, whether it be socially, physically, mentally [or] politically. One of the reasons I agreed to do this song is it spoke to me."

"Quarantine has been, for a lot of people, a taxation on their emotional and mental state," he added. "The song is a lot about that feeling, like two different people feeling that push and pull of whether it's depression or anxiety or joy or like right now, I am divided between extreme joy and extreme exhaustion."

"It's just a banger," Sullivan said. "It's got a great beat and you can crank it up and just really connect with what Shane was trying to say."

Machine Gun Kelly Confirms Relationship With Megan Fox On Instagram

Machine Gun Kelly confirmed his romantic relationship with Megan Fox after weeks of speculation with an Instagram post.

The picture is a black-and-white mirror selfie with both Kelly and Fox sticking their tongues out. Kelly captioned the post, “waited for eternity to find you again."

Kelly and Fox did their first interview together last week on podcast Give Them Lala … with Randall hosted by Lala Kent and Randall Emmett. Fox spoke on their relationship, “I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has like ascended to a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

The couple met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass and were speculated to be in a relationship as it was revealed that Fox and her husband Brian Austin Green were separated.

Green announced the separation on his own podcast With Brian Green. He said, “She said, ‘I realized when I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience and I think that might be something worth trying for me. I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way. It wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt. We talked about it a little more and said let’s separate for a bit… and so we did.”

Green went on to say that Fox did not cheat on him with Kelly. He stated, “I’ve never met him, but Megan and I talked about him and they’re friends at this point. And from what she’s expressed, he’s a really just nice, genuine guy. I trust her judgment. She’s always had really good judgment. I don’t want people to think that [they] are villains or I was a victim in any way with any of this — because I wasn’t.”

Insecure's Yvonne Orji Dishes On Her ''Special Moment'' With Issa Rae After Emmy Nominations

The latest season of Insecure may have divided viewers at home, but luckily the 2020 Emmys is Team Issa and Team Molly.

On Monday, July 28, Yvonne Orji earned an Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series nod for her performance as Molly—the character fans loved to hate. Season 4 of the HBO series explored what goes wrong (and what can go right) when a friendship reaches its breaking point. But while we'll have to wait for Molly and Issa (Issa Rae) to hash out their differences once and for all when Insecure returns for a fifth season, it's only right that Yvonne gets her time to shine.

E! News caught up with the actress and comedian moments after she found about the nomination. To learn the inside scoop on the cast's group chat, Yvonne's take on Molly and Issa's future and her plans to go "all out" for the Emmys ceremony, read below!

E!: Walk me through what your morning was like. Were you anticipating anything?

YO: I think everybody's hopeful. This season felt so different for a lot of different reasons, not only because everybody was stuck at home probably watching it. I was texting a couple of my co-stars, and then Issa's name got announced, so then all the screams and the dancing emojis were sent. And then the show got nominated and it was like, ‘Yes!" My publicist Sam called me and she was like, ‘Congratulations!' I'm like, ‘I know, this is a big win for everybody.' And she's like, ‘No, congratulations to you.' I'm like, ‘I know, I'm so happy to be part of the ensemble!' and she's like, ‘You got nominated!' And I'm like, ‘Like me? As an individual?' So then I started searching, and I'm like, ‘Oh my God. That's my name!' So it took me a little bit to realize, and then I started screaming, then I started dancing and then everything went blank.

E!: Insecure isn't new to the scene anymore, what's it like to get this nomination so far into the series?

YO: I think that's a testament to the writers and everybody involved. It's like wine. We get finer and finer. Every season just gets better and better, and I think people have seen that and we're grateful.

E!: Have you called or texted Issa this morning?

YO: Oh my God, yes. We had a moment and I thanked her. I was like, ‘Thank you for seeing something in me five years ago, for this moment. Thank you.' She was like, ‘Girl, we all did it.' It was a special moment. Batman and Robin. It's still really good.

E!: Issa and Molly grew apart this season. Where do you see that friendship going in Season 5?

YO: Man, I told Issa at the end of the season, ‘Can you never do that again?' Because I missed you. All the scenes we had together, we weren't really together, because of the Condola [Christina Elmore] aspect and then we were fighting. But we saw at the end of Season 4, they both were like, 'We gotta get our stuff together. We gotta be right.' So I'm hoping they really, really strengthen their relationship. Also we have fun, and sometimes fun is messy, so I'm sure we'll still be messy.

E!: Does it worry you then that you got the Emmy nomination for the season with all the friendship troubles, instead of the times when the friendship was stronger?

YO: We have a tethered friendship. I think [this season] really highlighted the nuances that go into relationships. Even if you think about people who were together in quarantine, whether you're in a marriage or whether you're in a roommate situation, this has been a total experiment, if you will, of how communication can break down a relationship. I think people are watching Issa and Molly figure out their relationship with it being a mirror for their own relationship. We've all experienced this pain, and I think so many people could relate to that, of all races. Even if you were like, 'I can't see myself as a Black person in South L.A.', you have these relationships though. You can see yourself as somebody who has a best friend and you're trying to figure out if this relationship will last.

E!: We don't know what the Emmys are going to be like this year, but have you thought about plans for at-home glam?

YO: I haven't thought about it yet, but I'm also very much Nigerian, so whatever I do, it's going to be over the top. We're those people, OK? I'm like, 'How do I get the helicopter to land me on a red carpet outside?' I don't know, but we gotta go all out. I know it looks different, but this is a celebration. This is a moment of Black joy, and I'm here for it.

Kim Kardashian Returns to L.A. After Emotional Visit With Kanye West in Wyoming

Kim Kardashian West is back home. The reality star and mother of four returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday after a somber reunion with husband Kanye West in Wyoming on Monday.

The 39-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star flew back alone. She was spotted after her plane touched down in L.A., in photos published by TMZ. The outlet reports that West stayed at the ranch in Cody, Wyoming, where he's been living and recording music.

Kardashian wore white sweatshirt and sweatpants and her hair in a tight bun as she exited the plane and made he way over to her SUV, which was waiting to pick her up, as seen in a video from The Daily Mail.

Kardashian's return home comes a day after she and West had a tearful meeting when she flew out to visit him. They were spotted having an impassioned conversation in the back of their SUV on Monday.

"Kim flew to Wyoming Monday to see Kanye after weeks of trying to get ahold of him and having him agree to see her," a source told ET. "The meeting was extremely emotional as the couple has a lot to work through now and most importantly making sure Kanye is healthy."

"Kim is still very upset with Kanye but she knows she needs to focus on him getting better," the source added. "Kim plans to do whatever she can to help Kanye get the help he needs."

The reunion marked the first time the pair had seen each other since West's controversial political rally in South Carolina and his subsequent Twitter storm of since-deleted comments about his wife and her family.

It also came one day after West made a public apology to his wife on Twitter, in which he said he regretted airing their private issues in public.

"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered me," the rapper tweeted on Saturday. "To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."

On Saturday, West was photographed arriving to a hospital near his ranch. He only stayed for about 10 minutes and then returned to his home, with an ambulance arriving to the property shortly after.

A source told ET that West went to the hospital because he was feeling anxious. According to the source, when West got to the hospital, he decided he would rather be seen at the ranch, which is why an ambulance came to the ranch. His vitals were checked, vital signs were found to be normal, and he felt better.

Although the two have been supportive of one another throughout the very public ups and downs during their marriage, another source told ET last week that they've been going in separate directions in the last few years.

"Kim and Kanye have grown apart and the couple is considering divorce," the source said at the time. "The two love each other unconditionally but have grown apart over the years and it's come to a point where it might be too far gone to save now."

The bride-to-be continued, "@maxehrich - I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. Kim Kardashian Reportedly ‘Furious’ At Kanye West For Talking About Daughter North At Campaign Rally

Kim Kardashian West is reportedly “furious” at her husband Kanye West for talking about their daughter North West at his recent campaign rally. West revealed that the couple considered getting an abortion after Kardashian West found out she was pregnant with North in 2013 when they were dating.

A source told People, “Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally. She is furious that he shared something so private.”

At the rally, West sobbed when retelling the story of the moment he found out Kardashian West was pregnant with North.

“In the Bible, it says, ‘Thou shall not kill,’” West said. “I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking, because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything … and she said, ‘I’m pregnant.’ And I said, ‘Yes!’ And then I said, ‘Uh oh.’”

West continued saying, “She was crying … and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.”

West said God sent him a message to keep the child.

“I called my wife and she said, ‘We’re gonna have this baby,’ and I said ‘We’re gonna have this child,’” he said.

The sourced added that Kardashian West is most concerned about how her husband bringing their private life into the spotlight will affect their four children.

“She loves her kids tremendously and wants to protect them. Her favorite thing in the world is being a mom,” the source continued.

Another source opened up to People and explained that the couple’s relationship has recently gone downhill due to West’s behavior.

Earlier this month West announced his intention to run for president. That announcement coupled with his recent behavior has many in his inner circle worried about his mental health.

“Kanye has been doing well for a long time. In the past, he has suffered both manic and depressive episodes related to his bipolar disorder. Right now, he is struggling again,” a source told People.

West was hospitalized in November 2016 for a “psychiatric emergency” and he was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018. Both the rapper and his wife have confirmed his diagnosis in previous interviews.

Jennifer Garner Tears Up While Looking Back On Her Kids' 'Year Full of Transitions'

Jennifer Garner is reflecting on how being in quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic has affected her children. The 48-year-old actress, who shares Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8, with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, got emotional while discussing the topic during an Instagram Live session with yoga and meditation instructor Chelsea Jackson Roberts.

"I feel so lucky. I've been in the luckiest possible circumstance. I have a roof, I have food, I have health, and so does my family. So I have no complaints," Garner acknowledged, before turning her attention to her kids.

"I'm really thinking about my kids. And what their experience is going to be," she said.

While Garner noted that her children are "so lucky" to have access to the internet and "excellent teachers who can teach over Zoom," she also spoke about how the current world circumstances can be hard on them.

"That is a one in a million possibility in this world. And yet, it's also a depressing one," she said of her kids' privilege during this time. "What is this year full of transitions going to look like for kids? For my family? How can I keep joy in learning for them? Or help them just continue to find their resilience? And I think that's where I am today."

As the instructor praised Garner for her openness and thoughtful response, the actress took off her glasses to wipe away tears.

"I think it's easy to focus on how lucky you are, and that is true. And I do and I am," she said. "But you have to also let the other stuff be there at the same time, it has to coexist."

"It is heavy. It's heavy for everyone," Garner continued. "And it's just, how do kids in this world not just live in all this heaviness?"

Burger Boogaloo Fest Severs Ties With Burger Records Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Burger Boogaloo, the independently-produced festival organized by Oakland, California’s Total Trash Productions, is severing ties with longtime partner Burger Records. In a statement posted on the festival’s website, it cited recent sexual misconduct allegations against Burger Records’ artists and employees.

“In light of the recent allegations against Burger Records and several of the bands on their label, Total Trash Productions has made the decision to end our long-standing partnership with Burger Records. We want to express our heartfelt support for the brave women who have come forward to share their stories,” the statement reads. “We also want to sincerely apologize to anyone who has ever been victimized or harassed at any of our events. As the organizers of Burger Boogaloo, we accept responsibility for what happens at the event, and while we have always worked to take swift actions in removing individuals from the event or our line-up who have acted violent or inappropriate, we know that we can always do better. We owe that to our fans and our community.”

Last weekend, a series of anonymous sexual misconduct allegations against various Burger Records’ artists and employees surfaced. In the wake of the news, Burger Records cofounder Lee Rickard resigned and fellow cofounder Sean Bohrman moved into a “transitional” role to assist interim president Jessa Zapor-Gray before Borhman eventually steps down. The label has announced it will be rebranding as BRGR RECS and will launch an all-women imprint called BRGRGRRRL.

In its statement, Total Trash Productions said they hired Burger Records to promote the festival after becoming acquainted with the label while booking tours for the label’s bands. “While we personally had an overall positive experience in working with Burger Records, and had no knowledge of the allegations that came out this week, we understand that there are many young women and others who have suffered traumatic experiences at the hands of certain bands and individuals associated with Burger Records,” the statement continued. “We are disturbed and disgusted by the allegations that have come out, and we stand with the survivors.”

Burger Boogaloo, which Total Trash Productions said it will rename, will “continue solely as a Total Trash Production.” Beyond the name change, organizers plan to employ additional safety measures for its attendees.

“This includes working on ways to make it easier for people to report abuse they experience or witness at our events so that we can act more swiftly in removing offenders and reporting them to the proper authorities, creating a stricter vetting process for bands and individuals on bands’ guestlists, further restricting backstage access and employing more security, continuing to diversify our line-ups with more acts that include women, LGBTQ and BIPOC, and working with local groups in our area to learn about actions we can take to help victims of sexual assault,” Total Trash Productions added. “These are just a few of the ideas we are currently discussing.” Read Total Trash Productions’ full statement.

Jamie Lynn Spears Defends Sister Britney From Comments About Her Mental Health

Jamie Lynn Spears made it clear that she will never discuss Britney Spears' mental health without her sister's permission.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Zoey 101 star shared a screenshot of a statement from Halsey, which called for "sympathy" towards those who struggle with mental health issues, especially bipolar disorder. She captioned the post, "If you deal with mental illness or care for someone dealing with mental illness, then you know how important it is to respect the situation with privacy for the person, and the family trying to protect their loved ones, no matter how it may appear to the public, and as the public we must learn to do the same."

Many assumed that Jamie was making reference to her older sister, with one critic asking, "How about your sisters [sic] OBVIOUS mental illness? Why don't you speak on that?"

In response, Jamie Lynn fired back. According to screenshots shared by Comments by Celebs, she wrote, "You have no right to assume anything about my sister, and I have NO right to speak about HER health and personal matters. She is a strong, badass, unstoppable woman, and that's the only thing that is OBVIOUS."

She explained in another response, captured by Just Jared, "I would never speak out just to clarify things to the public, when the person it pertains to does not want that to happen. I'd rather take all the hate, then speak about someone elses [sic] personal matter, that they want to keep private."

Over a year has passed since Britney received treatment at a mental health facility in Los Angeles. She has said very little of the time she spent away from the spotlight, but a source previously told E! News, "Britney expressed that treatment helped her slow down and focus on her health with less distractions and she needed the 'me time'."

Nowadays, the star appears to spend much of her time working out or dancing in her palatial Thousand Oaks estate. The mother of two frequently posts videos of herself breaking a sweat, which has drawn some criticism from her followers. But Britney has previously said of these critics, "I get how some people might not like my posts or even understand them, but this is Me being happy... This is Me being authentic and as real as it gets!"

Britney currently remains under a conservatorship, which went into effect in 2008 after the pop star suffered a public breakdown. However, this is set to be reviewed in a virtual court hearing this Wednesday.

‘McFarland USA’ Actor Johnny Ortiz Charged With Attempted Murder

McFarland USA and El Camino: a Breaking Bad Movie actor Johnny Ortiz has been arrested on attempted murder charges.

Ortiz was allegedly involved in an attempted murder of a man named Brian Duke. The crime is being considered a gang-related incident. Court documents state the incident was “for the benefit of, at the direction of, and in association with a criminal street gang, with the specific intent to promote, further and assist in criminal conduct by gang members.”

It is unclear what Ortiz’s exact role was, but another man named Armando Miguel Navarro is accused of allegedly attempting to carry out the murder and was the one “pulling the trigger.”

Ortiz is pleading not guilty and his first hearing is set for Monday. He is being held on $1 million bail.

Ortiz’s family organized a GoFundMe page in order to raise money to pay off his bail. The site has currently collected $780 out of its $1 million goal. It reads, “Johnny is everything to our family. He is in jail fighting for his case that he is innocent on. We want our beloved family member back with us. He’s a brother, son, and friend to our family. In April, Ortiz tweeted about his role in El Camino: “What an Honor to be part of some history. Breaking Bad Movie Release date Oct. 11, 2019,” before he asked fans what they thought, “Comments what y’all think of the movie? Y’all caught me slipping in there?”

Katy Perry Says She Buried the Hatchet with Taylor Swift As An ‘Example of Redemption’ for Young Girls

Katy Perry is giving fans further insight into her once rocky relationship with fellow songstress Taylor Swift. In a new interview with Howard Stern, Perry shared how the two put their conflict behind them in a bid to set an example to young women. She added that the pair now discuss “the best we want for each other."

"Gossip and lies, they take the elevator. But truth takes the stairs ... time will tell my story," Perry, 35, said while discussing the past feud. "What I'm so grateful for is that we did get to make up and we made up publicly to be an example of redemption."

“It's hard for young girls, growing up [with] cliques and high school and pettiness and all that stuff, so now we're super friendly and I've always wanted the best for her and we can talk about the best we want for each other," she continued.

The two put their highly-publicized differences aside when Perry made a surprise appearance in Swift’s 2018 music video for “You Need to Calm Down.”

These days, Perry has bigger things on her plate -- she’s preparing to give birth to her first child, a baby girl, with Lord of the Rings star, Orlando Bloom.

She’s also about to drop her new record, Smile, on Aug. 14, and candidly discussed how she battled depression while making the new music.

"It was more than I had ever faced in my life,” she said. “I'd had bouts of depression before, but I had been able to avoid falling into the really dark depression by making music. It's like all these things you do to distract -- you eat, you work you get a new boyfriend, you shop."

"I was so ashamed about being on medication because I was like... 'I wrote 'Firework,’” she added, about her uplifting, motivational 2017 hit. “But it was one of those things where I'd sprained my brain a little bit."

Perry credited Bloom, 43, for supporting her through all the ups and downs of her mental health struggles, which saw her contemplate suicide at one point.

Bloom accompanied her to a week-long stay at the Hoffman Institute, which she said focuses on, “re-wiring of your neural pathways through psychological and spiritual exercises.”

She said the actor has also been tolerant and understanding of her moods. "He's the only one that could handle it and that's why we're in this position," she told Stern. "I showed him all of it. And I still test him and he still shows up and he still is not phased by it and that's why he is perfect for me -- because I'm a lot!"

Danica Patrick Shares Thought-Provoking Posts About Relationships After Aaron Rodgers Split

Danica Patrick has taken some time to reflect.

The 38-year-old star and former professional racecar driver shared deep and thought-provoking quotes about relationships on her Instagram Stories on Saturday. The timing of her posts were also interesting, as it came one day after news broke that she and Aaron Rodgers split.

"Look at the chosen relationship in your life and notice any themes," Danica's post read, which was a quote by Vienna Pharaon, a licensed marriage and family therapist.

"What role do you play? Who are you with them? Who do you believe you need to be? What stories do you tell yourself about what they can offer you? What can they or can't they handle," the message continued. "The way you choose people may offer you insight into what you're craving or what shifts you may need to make in order to shift an overworked role you've held for a long time."

The 38-year-old star also shared another insightful quote by relationship coach Connor Beaton.

"The pain that we are given is the pain that we pass on," the quote read.

At this time, both Instagram Stories have since expired. However, on Sunday, Danica uploaded a photo of her dogs with the caption, "Ella wanted to give you all a Sunday smile."

On Friday, news broke that Danica and the 36-year-old NFL player decided to call it quits after nearly two years together. They began dating in the fall of 2017, and made their romance officially official after they packed on the PDA at the 2018 Daytona race track.

While the duo has yet to publicly announce their breakup, a rep for the retired NASCAR driver confirmed to E! News that they are "no longer together."

The pair's breakup comes as a surprise to fans, especially after rumors swirled that the Green Bay Packers quarterback was getting ready to propose. According to Variety, the athletes were already living together in the NFL star's home in Malibu, Calif.

Back in March, a source told E! News, "Aaron is planning to propose, 100 percent, for sure... It's not a matter of if, but when."

"He's become less private about his relationship because he's really proud to have her by his side," the source shared at the time. "They are completely smitten and committed to each other, and they're in it for the long haul."

However, all good things must come to an end. And it looks like the duo decided it was best to go their separate ways.

Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge finally explains that big Hot Priest twist

Fleabag founder and lead star Phoebe Waller-Bridge have shown why popular season 2 character The Priest — The Hot Priest as many lovers have dubbed him — is in a position to break the fourth wall as Fleabag can.

No other personality do so or even notices she does although fleabag often looks in and speaks directly to the camera during the show.

But he not only when The Priest arrives on the scene calls her out on the fact that she appears to be talking to someone but he looks into the camera and yells.

Speaking during The Making of Fleabag, as a part of BAFTA Television: The Sessions, Waller-Bridge revealed that she wanted Fleabag’s relationship with the camera and the audience to be mirrored by The Priest’s connection with God — since both characters constantly feel as though they are being watched by an existence they want to describe themselves to.

“[Fleabag] includes a connection with the camera the entire way through and it was interesting to have someone that has a similar item,” she explained. “He is mirrored case he has God. For her is whether or not she can give up the camera, and she is witnessed from the camera the way through and in the long run, the major issue.

“And he’s seen by God the whole time and is always needing to check to that the entire time. And in the end, he’s the same question, so that I just felt as though it’d be a really good way to mirror each other’s journeys.”

Their journeys do wind up leading them while end his relationship and The Priest chooses to stay in the priesthood as Fleabag chooses to literally wave farewell to the camera and therefore the presence viewing her.

The actress and author, who’s also worked on Killing Eve and the hottest James Bond film No Time To Die, also said that she doesn’t think Fleabag is speaking to anyone in particular when she breaks down the fourth wall but is instead attempting to discover some type of validation.

“I felt like it was symbolic of something I can’t explain… I feel as though it’s that anxiety about being watched and feeling observed and feeling as if you’re not being viewed, does exactly what you are doing count for anything, does it matter?” She explained. “She is always grappling with this need for the viewer to be there, to validate her, and to leave her alone so she can experience things on her own.”

Waller-Bridge has said many times that she is planning a run of this critically-acclaimed comedy-drama, but she has admitted she could be tempted to revisit in life.

“When I’m 50, maybe, when you know there has been a life lived and it is another face looking down the barrel,” she explained.

Inside Glee’s Shocking Tragedies and the Cast's Unbreakable Bond

"Tomorrow is not promised."

Naya Rivera shared that sentiment in one of her final posts on social media before the Glee star was confirmed dead by authorities on Monday, July 13. The news came just five days after she went missing on a California lake. She was just 33 years old.

July 13 was already a date likely ingrained in most Glee fans' memories. Rivera's co-star and friend Cory Monteith died on the same date seven years ago.

One of the most popular shows of the 21st century after it premiered on Fox in 2009, the young cast of Glee became household names virtually overnight, going on sold-out national concert tour in 2010-11, collectively breaking Elvis Presley's long-standing record for the most appearances on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, and selling over 8 million albums.

But with the highs also came lows, as the cast and crew have weathered unspeakable tragedies—while working together on the series for six seasons as well as in the five years since the choir room closed its doors for good in 2015.

Sadly, Rivera's devastating death is just the latest tragedy the Glee family has endured.

On Wednesday, July 8, Rivera, who played fan-favorite Santana Lopez on the show for the entirety of its run, went missing while boating with her young son on Lake Piru, a reservoir located about 50 miles north of Los Angeles. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department said authorities were called to Lake Piru when a child, later identified as her son 4-year-old Josey Dorsey, was found alone on a boat.

During a press conference, Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub revealed authorities were able to conclude through speaking to Rivera's son, who was wearing a life vest, that he and Rivera, whose life vest was found on the boat, swam in the lake together. It was then, Ayub said, "that her son described being helped into the boat by Rivera, who boosted him on to the deck from behind. He told investigators that he looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water."

"There are a lot of currents on the lake that appear particularly in the afternoon," he explained further. "We believe it was mid-afternoon when she disappeared, the idea perhaps being that the boat started drifting, it was unanchored, and that she mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself."

Rivera's final social media post was a photo of her kissing Josey, which she captioned, "Just the two of us."

But she had more than just Josey and her immediate family supporting her.

Just before her body was found, Capt. Eric Buschow told E! News that Rivera's Glee "cast members and friends gathered for a prayer at the water's edge."

They had, after all, been through thick and thin together.

Exactly seven years to the day, the Glee cast and the world was shocked by the sudden and tragic death of Monteith from combined drug intoxication at the age of 31. The series' leading man was found on July 13, 2013, in his Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in downtown Vancouver after missing his scheduled checkout time.

"This was an overdose and a tragic accident," Vancouver Police Department spokesman Brian Montague said at a press conference following the release of the autopsy results.

The actor, who went to rehab several months before his death, had been open about his struggles with substance abuse as a teenager and his ongoing battle in his adult life.

"I'm lucky on so many counts—I'm lucky to be alive," he told Parade in 2011. "I had a serious problem."

In an interview with E! News, creator Ryan Murphy revealed he had staged an intervention for Monteith in March 2013, saying, "His last words to me were, 'I want to get better,' and I always felt and continue to feel even in his death that he did, that he really wanted to fight it and he was humiliated and shamed."

Monteith's death was devastating for everyone on the Fox hit's set, with a source who works on the show telling E! News at the time, "To say that Cory was much-loved on the Glee set doesn't even begin to do him justice."

Chris Colfer, who played Kurt Hummel, Monteith's onscreen step-brother, took to Instagram to remember his friend.

"I'll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces we made after awkward interview questions," Colfer wrote with a screengrab taken from a TV interview they did together. "Love and miss you, buddy."

Following his death, questions arose about how and if Glee would handle his passing and Finn's absence on the show, with Murphy telling E! News they even considered ending the series.

Ultimately, despite the irrevocable void in the show's core cast, the series went on, with Murphy revealing it was Lea Michele, Monteith's longtime girlfriend who played the series star Rachel Berry, who made the call.

"If Lea had said to me, 'I could never do this again and I don't want to do this again,' you know, she is sort of the show, so what do you do?" Murphy told E! News at the time. "And I would've, out of respect to her as a person, said 'OK,' but that's not how Lea operates; that's not how she feels. She's handled this with so much humanity and grace and she's also handled this in a way where she's trying to look out for 500 other people affected by him and who have mortgages to pay and families to feed."

So after taking an extended hiatus, Glee addressed Monteith's death in "The Quarterback," a beautiful tribute episode that revealed his character Finn had died. It was an emotional and somber hour of television, both on-screen and off as each cast member was given a change to honor Monteith in the episode.

"Almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance because the actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it,' Murphy said at the time. "I've never seen a crew that you can't continue shooting because they've left the room sobbing. It was very hard. I struggled even working on it because what they felt, not just about Finn but Cory."

The episode ended with Michele singing Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love," and Rachel returning to McKinley High School, where the glee club began and Finn served as the football team's quarterback and captain, to hang a plaque in the choir room featuring a picture of Finn and a quote Finn said in a 2011 episode that reads: "The show must go...all over the place...or something."

Filming the episode allowed the cast to simultaneously grieve two losses, with series star Matthew Morrison telling E! News, "We've mourned Cory, but now we're mourning Finn. So it's kind of like two people in that one person."

He went on to say the tragedy had made the already tight cast and crew even tighter. "I think we all knew we were very close but I think this just kind of solidified it like we are a rock for each other right now," he said. "It's quite a beautiful thing."

Tragedy would hit again soon.

The same year Glee came to an end, star Mark Salling was arrested for child pornography possession. He was subsequently fired from the mini-series Gods and Secrets, causing his acting career to stall indefinitely.

The actor plead guilty to the charge in December 2017 and agreed to serve four to seven years behind bars with supervised release for 20 years. Additionally, he would register as a sex offender and pay restitution to each victim who requested it. His sentencing was scheduled for early March 2018

His 2015 arrest wasn't Salling's first encounter with law enforcement as the the actor's former girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela filed a lawsuit in January 2013 accusing him of sexual battery and assault during a March 2011 incident.

At the time, Salling denied Gorzela's claims and would go in to file a cross-complaint against his ex in April 2013. The lawsuit was finally settled in two years later, with a judge ordering Salling to pay $2.7 million to Gorzela in March 2015.

Five years after Monteith's death, Mark Salling, who played bad boy Puck, was found dead at a park near his home in Sunland, Calif, on Jan. 30, 2018. He was 35 years old.

According to the Los Angeles Coroner, the cause of death was asphyxia by hanging and the manner of death was suicide.

The news of Salling's suicide came after a source revealed details about his life as he awaited sentencing in the child pornography case.

"He isolated himself in that house in Sunland and was a very depressed, lonely human," the source told E! News. "He had demons he was wrestling with for many years."

In the wake of his death, Salling's lawyer released the following statement to E! News: "I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected."

Several of Salling's former cast and crew members from Glee spoke out on social media and at red carpet events to remember the actor.

"I know life was very, very hard for Mark," Jane Lynch told Us Weekly. "I think we all do the best we can at the end of the day. I know that Mark did the best he could."

Through each of these tragic deaths, the Glee family has come together to mourn, proving their bond is unbreakable.

Prior to the discovery of Rivera's body, Heather Morris, who played her love interest and wife Brittany S. Pearce on Glee, reached out to authorities asking she could join them and help search for her former co-star and "close friend."

And after authorities discovered the remains of Rivera, her friends and co-stars expressed their condolences in touching tributes.

"I was constantly moved by the degree to which she took care of her family, and how she looked out for her friends," Darren Criss wrote on Twitter. "She showed up for me on numerous occasions where she didn't have to, and I was always so grateful for her friendship then, as I certainly am now."

Kevin McHale, who was one of the series' original cast members, wrote in his Instagram post, "7 years ago today, she and I were together in London when we found out about Cory. We were so far away, but I was so thankful that we had each other. A week ago today we were talking about running away to Hawaii."

And on Twitter, McHale reflected on how Rivera's body was discovered on the anniversary of Monteith's death.

"I'm not religious by any means, but you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that Cory didn't help find our girl today," the actor, who played Artie Abrams, tweeted. "These 2, in many ways, were the male and female versions of one another. So nice, cared deeply, were stupidly talented, the most fun, and really really good people."

No matter where they are now, the Glee cast is always looking out for one another.

And in an excerpt from her co-star and friend Jenna Ushkowitz's 2014 book Choosing Glee: 10 Rules to Finding Inspiration, Happiness, and the Real You, Rivera offered up the following advice for Glee fans:

"The secret to happiness is identifying what you're passionate about and being able to do it well every day. Also, surround yourself with great group of people you love. Laugh, Live and look forward to the future."

Britney Spears' Mom Lynne Files Legal Docs to Be Included in Daughter's Finances

Lynne Spears wants to be more in the know about her daughter Britney Spears' finances and trust. In court docs obtained by ET, the pop star's mother filed a request with the Los Angeles County Court on Monday to receive special notice on "all matters" in regard to Spears' SJB Revocable Trust.

The "Stronger" singer filed the SJB Revocable Trust in 2004 to protect her multimillion-dollar assets and set up her two sons for their future. It was also established to "hold and manage her material financial assets during her lifetime, and provide distribution of those assets upon her death," according to The Blast, which was first to report the news.

In May 2019, Lynne also requested special notice of all matters relating to Britney's conservatorship, in which she hasn't had any role previously.

"Britney's mother has always wanted to have a position in Britney's conservatorship," a source told ET at the time. "Her mom has tried at different points over the years to have some sort of say," the source said.

In May of this year, Britney's conservatorship was extended until at least the end of the summer. According to court documents obtained by ET at the time, Judge Brenda Penny issued an order authorizing the temporary conservator, Jodi Montgomery, to stay on Spears' conservatorship until at least Aug. 22, 2020.

Per the docs, the extension comes after the judge decided a hearing on the matter could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Spears' father, Jamie, stepped down as her conservator in September 2019. Jamie had previously petitioned the court to hand over the reins of the singer's conservatorship, citing ongoing health issues. A judge approved the request and appointed Montgomery, Spear's longtime care manager, as her new conservator.

Lynne was by Britney's side in 2008 when she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold. In 2010, Lynne opened up to ET about the harrowing night.

"With the hospital, that was the most horrible time, because I felt so helpless... I'm her mom," she said. "It's a long journey and we still have many bumps to go, you know, but we are resilient."

Lea Michele Honors Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith With Never-Before-Seen Glee Photos

Lea Michele has joined the rest of the Glee cast in their mourning over the death of Naya Rivera.

On Monday, July 13, Rivera's body was recovered from a Southern California lake, where she went missing five days prior while boating with her 4-year-old son. Members of the Glee cast were pictured alongside Naya's family holding hands at Lake Piru as law enforcement worked to identify the remains as those belonging to the actress.

In a painful reminder of the tragedy that stars of the Fox musical series have endured over the years, today also marks the seven-year anniversary of Cory Monteith's passing. In 2013, Monteith died at the age of 31 from an accidental drug overdose.

Lea, who was in a relationship with Cory at the time of his death, took to social media with multiple never-before-seen photos of her late co-stars from over the years.

The black and white snapshots show Naya on set of Glee, Cory holding a bouquet of flowers and the cast looking out over the beach.

And as news of Rivera's untimely passing sent shockwaves through Hollywood, Glee cast members recalled the moments with the 33-year-old they'll cherish forever.

"How can you convey all your love and respect for someone in one post?" Chris Colfer shared on Instagram. "How can you summarize a decade of friendship and laughter with words alone? If you were friends with Naya Rivera, you simply can't. Her brilliance and humor were unmatched. Her beauty and talent were otherworldly. She spoke truth to power with poise and fearlessness. She could turn a bad day into a great day with a single remark. She inspired and uplifted people without even trying. Being close to her was both a badge of honor and a suit of armor. Naya was truly one of a kind, and she always will be. Sending all my love to her wonderful family and her beautiful son."

Becca Tobin shared in part, "Naya was insanely talented, breathtakingly gorgeous, and one of the wittiest people I've ever met, but the legacy she left behind for me is her kindness... She was a superstar who had nothing to gain from being kind to the new girl, but she was and that changed this new girl's entire experience on that show. I will forever be grateful to that beautiful human. My heart goes out to her family and her sweet boy."

For Jenna Ushkowitz, she said Rivera "shined on stage and screen and with love behind closed doors."

"I can not believe I took for granted that you'd always be here," the actress continued. "Our friendship went in waves as life happens and we grow, so I will not look back and regret but know I love you and promise to help the legacy of your talent, humor, light and loyalty live on. You are so loved. You deserved the world and we will make sure Josey and your family feel that everyday. I miss you already."

Jimmy Fallon, ‘Tonight Show’ Return to Studio Following ‘At Home’ Episodes

Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show returned to the studio on Monday following a run of “At Home” episodes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The July 13th installment, which follows four months of the shifted format, was filmed in a modified Studio 6-A at their home base in New York City’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Fallon and house band the Roots will continue to appear in the studio with a scaled-back crew, Deadline reports.

No audience will attend upcoming episodes, and most of the Tonight Show staff will continue working from home. The show will utilize social distancing measures and adhere to all New York health and safety guidelines.

Monday’s episode featured Charlize Theron, musical guest Little Big Town and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, the latter of whom welcomed Fallon back in a Zoom interview. “New York is really open now that you’re doing your show again,” he said.

Cuomo also spoke about New York City’s drastic improvement in recent months with the coronavirus, including zero reported deaths on Saturday.

“We went from having the worst infection rate in the country [to] the best infection rate,” he said. “We really turned the corner. New Yorkers stepped up. They really did the right thing. They did the social distancing. They stayed at home. We tamed the beast here in New York. We just have to cross our fingers and hope that it stays there because you see the infection is now all across the country. And it’s going crazy. And we’re just worried that the infection is going to come from the other states now back to New York, which would be a real tragedy.”

As Deadline notes, The Tonight Show started filming hybrid “At Home” episodes in mid-March before moving entirely to Fallon’s home. In one memorable recent segment, the host documented the long-term effects of quarantine by playing the original song “Starting to Crack.” In another lockdown piece, he teamed with the Roots and Billy Idol to remotely tackle the singer’s “Dancing With Myself.”
