The historic Stonewall Inn is seeking help to avoid permanent closure due to the COVID-19 crisis. Former President Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry and Cynthia Erivo participated in Pride Live’s Stoneway Day two-hour livestream to help raise funds to keep it open.
“Stonewall Inn has been such a symbol of rebellion in the face of oppression, and such a safe place for people,” Swift said.
